Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with customers via phone, written correspondence, and other methods to ensure a high level of customer service and strong client relationships
- Prepare clear, accurate written documentation related to quotes, sales orders, and other required records
- Maintain and interpret all quote documentation, ensuring accurate pricing and configurations; prepare quotes and contracts for prospective customers
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to identify current needs and anticipate future opportunities
- Generate new business through cold calling, follow up on sales leads, and successfully close sales
- Submit timely call reports and prepare sales reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data
- Previous sales or customer service experience is required
- Experience in the metals industry or aluminum sales is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks; detail-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong mathematical aptitude
