Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic outside sales plans to identify new business opportunities within designated territories.
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing features and benefits effectively.
  • Manage existing accounts through proactive account management, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Lead generation through cold calling, networking, and leveraging CRM software to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals efficiently, ensuring mutual value for clients and the company.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that support territory growth and brand awareness.
  • Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce to track sales activities, analyze data for insights, and optimize sales strategies.
  • Maintain comprehensive territory management by analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine approaches.

Skills

  • Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technology sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to handle multiple accounts and territories effectively.
  • Expertise in business development, lead generation, and direct sales techniques including cold calling and upselling.
  • Excellent negotiation skills paired with exceptional customer service abilities to build trust and close deals.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for managing customer relationships and tracking sales progress.
  • Effective analysis skills to interpret market data, identify opportunities, and develop strategic plans.
  • Ability to deliver compelling product demos that highlight technical features clearly and persuasively.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles relevant to retail sales, territory management, and inside/outside sales environments.
