Job Description: Business Sales Specialist
Compensation: Base Plus commission
Location: California
Type: Full-Time
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Sales Associate to join our team in California. This role is ideal for a go-getter with a strong personality and a passion for driving sales growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and nurturing client relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting Demos:
- Perform demos for potential clients, following the company's seven-step sales process.
- Conduct three to four hours of demos daily, eventually increasing to eight hours as needed.
Follow-ups:
- Follow up with leads post-demo to push for the sale.
- Send text messages to ensure clients received proposals and contracts.
- Maintain consistent follow-up to drive clients towards closing the sale.
Collaboration with Sales team:
- Work with the Sales team to ensure proper training and adherence to the sales process.
- Participate in meetings and maintain follow-up protocols.
Lead Generation:
- Engage in lead generation activities, although initially, this may not be the primary focus.
- Utilize email blasts and other lead generation techniques as the role develops.
In-person Meetings:
- Potentially attend in-person meetings for certain high-profile clients, though this may be handled by an Account Manager.
Lunch and Learn Sessions:
- Host and organize lunch and learn sessions, as well as attend conferences.
Proposal and Contract Management:
- Assist in preparing proposals and contracts.
- Work closely with the Sales team to handle these administrative tasks.
Training and Supervision:
- Ensure new hires or junior staff are properly trained in the sales process and company protocols.
- Oversee and ensure adherence to company sales procedures.
Additional Sales-related Tasks:
- Coordinate with the team on logistics for events and conferences.
- Maintain a professional and presentable demeanor, with strong organizational skills.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a related industry.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of digital marketing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
