Our state-of-the-art automotive disassembly plant in Camden, New Jersey has the capacity to dismantle 7000 vehicles each month. Are you a dependable box truck driver who isn’t afraid to roll up your sleeves in the warehouse? My Auto Store is looking for a hands-on Utility Worker who can handle deliveries during the day and jump in to support warehouse operations when needed. This role will be based out of our warehouse in West Deptford, NJ. This is a union role which pays $22.79/hr.
This is a split-role position. You will spend part of your time driving a 16-foot box truck delivering automotive parts, and the rest assisting with warehouse tasks like loading, unloading, and organization. If you enjoy variety, staying active, and being part of a hardworking team, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do
Driving & Deliveries
Operate a 16-foot box truck to deliver automotive parts to customers
Load and unload parts safely and securely
Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck
Track deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and report any incidents
Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, or issues
Provide professional, courteous customer service at delivery sites
Navigate local and congested roadways safely and efficiently
Warehouse Support
Assist with loading/unloading inbound and outbound shipments
Support shipping and receiving operations
Help maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse
Step in wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly
What We’re Looking For
Valid driver’s license
Experience driving a box truck or similar vehicle
Previous warehouse experience (shipping/receiving, inventory, loading, etc.)
Strong understanding of safety procedures and cargo securement
Ability to navigate local roads and use GPS systems confidently
Comfortable driving in highway and congested traffic conditions
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Flexible with schedule when needed
