EMR is currently seeking a hands-on, dependable Lead Small Engine and Pressure Washing Mechanic who enjoys diagnosing equipment problems, performing mechanical repairs, and leading a small field team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for maintaining industrial pressure washing equipment while also overseeing the cleaning of heavy industrial machinery. The assigned schedule is Wednesday – Friday 7am to 3:30pm, Saturday – Sunday 5am – 1pm. Hours may change due to need. This role pays $28 – 32/hr
Your primary responsibility will be maintaining and repairing commercial pressure washing equipment while leading daily field operations.
Key Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical issues on commercial pressure washing equipment.

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on small gasoline and diesel engines.

Troubleshoot pumps, hoses, burners, engines, fuel systems, and electrical components.

Repair and maintain Kärcher, Hotsy, or similar industrial pressure washing equipment.

Minimize equipment downtime through proactive maintenance.

Maintain repair and maintenance records.

Lead a crew of 3–4 technicians during daily cleaning assignments.

Operate industrial pressure washing equipment up to 10,000 PSI.

Ensure heavy equipment is cleaned safely and to EMR quality standards.

Train team members on equipment operation and safe work practices.

Monitor productivity and quality of completed work.

Drive a 1-ton truck and enclosed trailer to job sites.
Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of pressure washing / power washing experience (required)

Hands-on experience cleaning heavy equipment or industrial machinery

Basic to intermediate small engine repair experience (required or strongly preferred)

Experience operating industrial pressure washers (Kärcher, Hotsy, or similar)

Ability to lead or guide a small crew in the field

Experience driving a 1-ton truck with enclosed trailer preferred

Familiarity with trailer brake systems preferred

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
