Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role located in Blairsville, GA, for an Executive Director at Empyrean Hospice. The Executive Director will oversee all operations within the hospice location, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with the organization's values. Responsibilities include managing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, developing strategic plans, and maintaining financial oversight. Additionally, the Executive Director will foster relationships with patients, families, and the community, promoting a compassionate and supportive hospice care environment.
Qualifications
- Leadership and management experience, with a proven ability to guide teams effectively
- Strong knowledge of hospice regulations, compliance standards, and hospice policies
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities
- Commitment to adhering to the organizational values of patient-focused and faith-driven care
- Relevant educational background, such as a bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred
- Active RN license in Georgia
- Previous experience in hospice leadership roles preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team and community partners
