What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Specialist position at EMPRO US?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• FedEx Freight BOL creation and distribution (via email) to shippers.
• Archive and organize TMS Logistics team emails
• Close freight payables that are not auto received by our system
• Communicate with freight carriers and Bakemark buyers to ensure orders are on schedule
• TMS (Transportation Management Systems) data entry and basic operations
Qualifications:
• No major commitments/travel for the next 90 days
• Willingness to learn in the transportation industry
• Experience with Excel and Microsoft Teams
• Experience with FedEx Ship Manager software is a major bonus.
• Experience with TMS (Transportation Management Systems) is a major bonus.
