**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Temporary Leasing Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leasing activities at a third party property, ensuring a positive experience for prospective residents and maintaining high occupancy rates.
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct property tours with potential residents and highlight key features
- Negotiate lease terms and ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately
- Utilize OneSite or similar software for leasing and resident management
- Uphold knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 housing guidelines
- Assist with property maintenance requests and coordinate with facilities management
- Handle resident inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and maintain organized leasing files
- Implement effective upselling strategies to maximize revenue opportunities
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in leasing, property management, or related field preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment
- Strong conflict management skills to resolve issues effectively
- Familiarity with leasing software such as OneSite is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree is a bonus
