- Provide outstanding customer service over the phone
- Coordination of ambulance transportation for multiple facilities
- Obtain insurance information, verifications & authorizations
- Utilize a CAD system
- Basic data entry
- Scan/upload documentations onto CAD system
- Minimum of 1-year customer service or related experience in a medical environment
- Familiarity with insurance verifications and authorizations
- Ability to work alongside team members in a high call volume setting
- Detail-oriented
- Computer savvy: individual with proven software proficiency in software programs such as Excel.
- Personable, warm, empathetic, and professional in communication style over the phone
- Ability to learn new things and apply them in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
- Work is performed under normal working conditions, as in a standard office or hospital environment.
- High level of sitting/working at a desk
- Light physical effort (lift/carry up to 10 lbs.)
- Must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
