Role Description
This is a 1099 contract position for a Therapist based in Indianapolis, IN. The Therapist will provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions; conduct assessments and develop treatment plans; and offer crisis intervention when necessary.
The role also involves collaboration with professionals from the Indiana Department of Child Services and other community-based providers. The Therapist will be responsible for documenting client progress, maintaining accurate records, participating in case conferences, and supporting families in various settings—including in-home, in-office, and in the community.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Indiana (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LMHC)
- Individual and family therapy skills, including crisis intervention and trauma-informed care
- Competence in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Cultural responsiveness and the ability to work with diverse populations
- Experience with community-based services and case management is a plus
