SAIOP - JOB DESCRIPTION
General Purpose
The SAIOP team member is responsible for the clinical oversight of the program, providing direct clinical care and ensuring that supervision is in place. SAIOP manages and ensures that the program is adhering to the policy, rules and statutes.
Classification: Full-time, non-exempt
Reports to: SAIOP Lead
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs.
- Monitoring clients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Providing individual and group therapy sessions to support clients in their recovery efforts.
- Educating clients and their families about addiction and effective coping strategies.
- Exhibit commitment and dedication to practicing ethically and equitably
- Maintain confidentiality for patients, families and center by abiding by all HIPPA
Regulations.
- Education on relapse prevention and development of support systems in treatment
- Education on life skills and crisis contingency planning
- A planned format of therapies, delivered on an individual and group basis and adapted to the beneficiary’s developmental stage and comprehension lever
- Biomedical testing to evaluate recent drug usage (such as urine drug screens)
- Group counseling, therapy, and support
Minimum Qualifications
- Applicant should be licensed and in good standing with the NC Addictions Special Professional Practice Board
- Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS)

- Ability to be disciplined and measurably productive while unsupervised.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Behavioral Health experience preferred.
- Substance abuse experience required.
