What are the responsibilities and job description for the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst position at Empowering Minds ABA Solutions?
Job Summary
Empowering Minds ABA Solutions is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and clinically driven Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team.
We are a small, BCBA-owned and operated private ABA practice providing individualized, home- and community-based services to children and families throughout Southern New Hampshire. As a BCBA-owned company, clinical quality is at the center of how we operate. Our BCBAs have direct access to the owner/Clinical Director, autonomy in clinical decision-making, and the opportunity to build strong working relationships with the RBTs/BTs and families they support.
This position is ideal for a BCBA who values quality over quantity and is looking for a more personal alternative to the large, corporate ABA model. We prioritize manageable caseloads, individualized treatment, ethical and compassionate care, and a collaborative environment where clinicians have a voice.
The BCBA will oversee individualized ABA programming, provide ongoing supervision and training to RBTs/BTs, collaborate with caregivers and other members of the client's treatment team, and use ongoing data analysis to guide clinical decision-making.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive ABA assessments and reassessments to identify individualized strengths, needs, and treatment priorities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized, function-based treatment plans using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Develop skill-acquisition, behavior-reduction, caregiver-training, and behavior support programs based on each client's individual needs.
- Analyze client data and make clinically appropriate modifications to treatment programs based on client progress.
- Provide ongoing clinical supervision, training, feedback, and support to RBTs/BTs providing direct services.
- Conduct treatment integrity and competency-based observations to support high-quality implementation of programming.
- Provide caregiver training and collaborate with families to promote generalization of meaningful skills within everyday routines.
- Collaborate with schools, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, medical providers, and other members of the client's care team when appropriate and authorized.
- Complete treatment plans, progress reports, session documentation, and other required clinical documentation accurately and within established timelines.
- Maintain services and documentation in accordance with BACB ethical standards, HIPAA requirements, payer requirements, and company policies.
- Participate in ongoing clinical collaboration with the Clinical Director and contribute to the continued development of a growing, clinician-led practice.
Requirements
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Ability to meet all applicable requirements to provide behavior analytic services in New Hampshire.
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis, functional assessment, skill acquisition, behavior-reduction procedures, and data-based clinical decision-making.
- Experience developing and overseeing individualized ABA treatment programs.
- Experience supervising and providing clinical feedback to RBTs/BTs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent communication and collaboration with the Clinical Director and treatment team.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes and community-based service locations.
- Commitment to ethical, compassionate, individualized, and evidence-based ABA services.
