We are hiring for Charlottesville currently, but have openings in other locations as well. This is a 1099 contractor position; you make your own hours, we provide the clients.
Role Description
This can be a full time or part time/supplemental income position, for a Mental Health Professional (Qualified Mental Health Professional - QMHP, QMHP-T, or eligible). The professional will provide mental health services, create ISP's, and carry out interventions for individuals and families experiencing mental health challenges. Responsibilities will include supportive counseling for clients, coordinating care plans, performing crisis interventions, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and execute effective coping strategies and treatment plans. The role is only for those who work well independently; can mange their own schedule and paperwork. We provide paid weekly supervision for QMHP-T and QMHP regulations, great job for those wanting to advance into a LPC, LCSW and other mental health professional positions.
Qualifications
- Experience in Mental Health Care
- Experience coordinating client services
- Ability to quickly adopt Crisis Intervention techniques
- Strong understanding of Mental Health practices and theories
- Demonstrates ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- BA or MA in human services field

- QMHP certification or eligibility (required)( we can provide the didactic trainings)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, (you will manage yourself, no micro-managing)
