Starting wage is $19.00/hr
As a Residential Trainer, you will be responsible for the development of training, orientation and on-boarding accordance with Empowering Abilities philosophy and culture, policies, and procedures. Position is also responsible for personal care of individuals when needed.
Schedule: 2 week rotating schedule.

Week 1: Sunday- 8am-4:30pm Monday- 11am-7:30pm Tuesday- 11am-7:30pm Wednesday- 11am-7:30pm Thursday- 11am-7:30pm Friday- OFF Saturday- OFF |
Week 2: Sunday- OFF Monday- 11am-7:30pm Tuesday- 11am-7:30pm Wednesday- 11am-7:30pm Thursday- 11am-7:30pm Friday- 11am-7:30pm Saturday- OFF |
Essential Job responsibilities:
- Act in a supervisory capacity (assist with performance expectation reviews, staff development, scheduling)
- Orientation and on-boarding of new staff
- Knowledge of individuals’ condition, needs, and whereabouts
- Provide personal care and helping people achieve everyday living skills
- Provide transportation when needed
- On-call duties
Qualifications include:
- Possess current and valid driver's license and auto insurance, and maintain a good driving record. Must be willing to drive own vehicle and be reimbursed for mileage
- High School diploma or GED required
- B.A. in human services field, preferred
- Minimum of one year experience in the field of developmental disabilities
- Ability to meet employment requirements (i.e. health screening, Driving Record, TB test)
