Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and execute new acquisition and investment opportunities across various healthcare sectors through comprehensive financial analysis, industry research, and business assessments.
- Construct and maintain sophisticated financial models: including operating forecasts, valuation analyses, leveraged buyout models, and scenario analyses to support investment evaluations.
- Lead and coordinate the financial due diligence process, collaborating with third-party consultants including accounting, legal, tax, quality of earnings, and operations specialists.
- Prepare and present detailed investment memoranda and recommendations to senior management and the investment committee.
- Analyze financial statements, operating performance, market developments, and competitive positioning to inform investment decisions.
- Assess reimbursement frameworks, regulatory requirements, and other healthcare-specific considerations.
- Support transaction execution activities, encompassing negotiation, financing, lender diligence, and closing procedures.
- Collaborate with business owners, management teams, investment bankers, lenders, and external advisors throughout the investment lifecycle.
- Assist in sourcing, evaluating, and executing add-on acquisitions for existing portfolio companies.
- Monitor portfolio company performance, supporting post-acquisition value creation initiatives such as budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to inform strategic decision-making and capital allocation.
- Develop KPI dashboards and reporting frameworks to track portfolio performance.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in private equity, investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate development, or relevant finance roles.
- Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills, with high proficiency in Excel.
- Proven expertise in evaluating acquisitions, mergers, recapitalizations, or other intricate corporate transactions.
- Strong business acumen and the capacity to quickly assess business models, key value drivers, and potential investment risks and opportunities.
- Deep understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and overall business operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing and delivering high-level investment recommendations.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and transactions concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
