Community Outreach Manager

Empowered Staffing is partnered with a fast-growing substance abuse organization that provides treatment for individuals suffering from addiction and mental health disorders. Due to the company’s continued growth, they are seeking a Community Outreach Manager to drive referrals and awareness for their IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) and PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) programs throughout Iowa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic outreach plans to increase referrals and program census across IOP and PHP services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, healthcare providers, and community partners throughout Iowa.
• Network within local and regional markets to generate awareness and build referral pipelines.
• Attend leadership meetings, community events, and professional conferences to represent the organization and promote services.
• Collaborate closely with the Admissions team to ensure smooth referral transitions from inpatient settings into the PHP program.
• Track outreach metrics, analyze results, and report on referral trends and growth opportunities.
• Serve as a knowledgeable ambassador for all company programs and services.

Qualifications:

• Previous outreach or marketing experience in the substance use, behavioral health, or non-profit healthcare company.
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems, referral processes, and patient transitions from inpatient to outpatient levels of care.
• Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills.
• Self-starter who thrives on autonomy, relationship-building, and measurable results.
• Willingness to travel throughout Iowa to expand program reach and support new clinic openings.
