Role Description
This is a part-time, 1099 telehealth role for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, located in Millbury, MA. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive mental health assessments, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans. Responsibilities also include prescribing and managing medications, providing therapeutic interventions, monitoring progress, and educating patients. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care is a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Mental Health and substance use disorders
- Skills and experience in Psychiatric Care and therapeutic interventions
- Professional licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner, with a focus on mental health
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Master’s degree in Nursing or PMHNP certification
- Prior experience in psychiatric care is preferred
- Telehealth experience preferred
