What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Material Handler position at Empowered Church Ministry?
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Material Handler to support daily manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for moving raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility, ensuring production lines remain fully stocked and running efficiently.
This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced production environment, ideal for candidates with warehouse or manufacturing experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport raw materials, components, and finished products within the facility
- Supply production lines with necessary materials in a timely manner
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified)
- Load and unload shipments safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies
- Assist with staging, labeling, and packaging products
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Keep work areas clean and organized
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic math and organizational skills
- Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
Work Environment
- Fast-paced production or warehouse setting
- May involve exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
