Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an ABA - Behavior Therapist - RBT, based in Culver City, Lawndale, South and LA and surrounding areas. As a Behavior Therapist, you will provide therapy sessions and implement individualized treatment plans developed within the framework of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Your day-to-day responsibilities will include working directly with children or adults with developmental disabilities, recording and analyzing behavioral data, collaborating with clinical supervisors, and maintaining effective communication with clients and their families. Additionally, responsibilities may include participation in team meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and application skills in Applied Behavior Analysis and Behavior Analysis techniques
- Educational background in Psychology or relevant fields (Bachelor's in Human Services field preferred)
- Effective Interpersonal Skills to build relationships with clients, families, and team members
- Experience working with children, especially those with developmental or social challenges
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain it
- Reliable transportation for work within the Los Angeles County area
- Adaptability to work in dynamic environments such as home, school, or clinical settings as well as to work with children and adults
- Experience handling interfering behaviors (i.e. aggression, elopement, etc)
Compensation
From $24-$27 per hour based on experience and qualifications
