Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate Lead ensures smooth inventory operations, trains the warehouse team, and upholds current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). This role supports Empower Pharmacy’s mission by maintaining efficiency, safety, and compliance to deliver quality, affordable medications.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinates warehouse operations, including inventory checks, material transfers, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, in collaboration with site leadership.
  • Leads and trains the warehouse team to ensure efficient operations, proper material handling, and compliance with established policies.
  • Performs inventory tasks, including receiving, product put-away, stock rotation, and cycle counts, while resolving discrepancies and ensuring accurate documentation like Certificates of Analysis.
  • Monitors inventory levels, schedules material movements, and utilizes inventory systems to maintain accuracy and prevent stock-outs.
  • Maintains a safe, organized warehouse by enforcing instructions, troubleshooting equipment, performing maintenance, and adhering to safety standards.

 

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.


Knowledge and Skills

  • Demonstrates strong integrity, attention to detail, and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure, maintain confidentiality, and foster teamwork while supporting cross-training and collaboration.
  • Possesses knowledge of warehouse operations, safety requirements, pharmaceuticals, and cGMP, with proficiency in Office 365 and experience with enterprise resource planning systems, such as Oracle, preferred.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience in a warehouse environment required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current forklift license, or the ability to obtain one.
