Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

Position Summary

The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis aligns financial plans with business goals and optimizes performance through data analysis and reporting. This role provides insights to leadership, enhances financial processes, and fosters collaboration to support the mission of delivering affordable, innovative medications.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Leads the development and execution of the annual financial plan, ensuring alignment with business objectives and organizational goals.
• Analyzes financial data, key performance indicators, and operational metrics, using data visualization to communicate insights and deliver monthly presentations.
• Prepares and enhances dashboards, financial reports, and management reporting packages to provide strategic insights and improve decision-making.
• Monitors financial performance against budget and forecast, implements corrective actions, and collaborates with departments to optimize cost structures and improve profitability.
• Fosters a collaborative work environment, mentors team members, and leads special projects while staying updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements.

The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. Knowledge and Skills

• Demonstrates strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to present high-quality, actionable insights to executives.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, financial modeling, data analysis, and statistical techniques, with experience in Enterprise Resource Planning, accounting software, and Business Intelligence tools a plus.

Experience And Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling; investment banking or private equity experience a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Masters of Business Administration, Chartered Financial Analyst, or advanced degree a plus.
