Job Summary
Empower Mental Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Neuropsychologist to join our expanding Personal Injury Division, providing specialized care to individuals recovering from traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and head trauma, particularly those resulting from motor vehicle collisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for individuals presenting with cognitive, emotional, and behavioral changes following traumatic injury, with a specialized focus on personal injury cases.
- Interpret and integrate neurocognitive, emotional, and functional data to support diagnosis, treatment planning, and functional recommendations.
- Prepare detailed clinical reports suitable for a medical-legal audience, focused on diagnosis and treatment rather than forensic conclusions.
- Option to provide Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapy (CRT), if qualified, to support patient recovery and functional improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology from an APA-accredited program.
- Licensed or license-eligible psychologist in one or more U.S. states.
- Formal training and experience in neuropsychological testing, especially related to TBI and head trauma from motor vehicle accidents.
- Experience or interest in Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapy (CRT) is highly preferred.
- Strong clinical documentation and case conceptualization skills.
- Comfort working in a telehealth model and familiarity with EHR systems.
