Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
- Monitor and document client progress, reporting any changes to the appropriate team members.
- Facilitate community engagement and recreational activities to promote social skills and independence.
- Ensure a safe and clean living environment by maintaining household standards.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in the field of direct support.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in direct support preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client outings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Background check clearance required for all applicants.
Schedule:
- Full time, part time, and on-call schedules are available between the hours of 6 am - 6 pm.
