We are seeking a passionate and energetic Enrichment Coordinator specializing in Gardening and Art to inspire creativity, foster growth, and cultivate a vibrant learning environment for children and youth. Develop and implement comprehensive curricula that integrate gardening projects with visual and performing arts activities, ensuring alignment with developmental goals.
Lead engaging gardening sessions, teaching children about plant care, sustainability, and environmental responsibility through interactive lessons.
Facilitate art classes focused on various mediums such as painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media to encourage self-expression.
Manage classroom environments effectively by employing positive behavior management techniques and fostering inclusive participation.
Coordinate special projects like garden design, community art displays, or performances that showcase students’ creative work.
Collaborate with other educators to plan age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate arts education into broader learning objectives.
Maintain safety standards during all activities, ensuring proper use of tools, materials, and equipment related to gardening and art projects.
Schedule: Tuesdays/Thursdays 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Proven experience in curriculum development for arts or environmental education programs.
Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage children across diverse age groups.
Experience working directly with children in educational or recreational settings, especially in youth programs.
Expertise in teaching visual arts, performing arts such as dance or theater, and musical instruments; choreography or dance instruction experience is a plus.
Knowledge of gardening techniques, plant biology, sustainability practices, and outdoor activity safety protocols.
Background in teaching music or instrumental performance; photography or culinary experience is advantageous.
Familiarity with childhood development principles and behavior management strategies to support positive learning experiences.
Ability to plan lessons effectively while adapting to individual student needs and interests.
