Empower Kidz Drop-In Childcare isn’t your average child care center… and we’re not looking for average teammates! We’re a boutique, licensed drop-in center and playful learning space for children ages 6 weeks to 10 years—designed with love, flexibility, and plenty of laughter.

✅ Childcare & Classroom Teachers (Infants, Toddlers, School-aged) – Comfort, guide, and inspire little ones daily
✅ Opening Crew – Rise and shine with our 9:00 AM start time (opening hours subject to change)
✅ Closing Crew – Keep the good vibes going until 10 PM (Fridays & Saturdays)

Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in various activities to promote learning and development.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children of all ages, including infants and toddlers.
- Assist with daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and hygiene practices.
- Implement behavior management strategies to support positive interactions among children.
- Collaborate with parents and staff to address individual needs, ensure quality care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare space.
- Work front reception desk, take calls, reservations, check in families (Hybrid admin/caregiver roles only)
Qualifications
- Educational requirement:
- -High School Diploma-High School Equivalent (GED)-High School Certificate of Coursework Completion
- Age requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age per Texas HHS CCR.
- Relevant experience (preferred, not required):
- -2 year(s) experience in a licensed childcare center or regulated setting.
- Ability to pass a childcare licensing background & fingerprint check
- Ability to work within a flexible schedule, Monday through Saturday
- Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or as a nanny
- Strong understanding of childhood development and behavior management
- Certification in First Aid and CPR will be required and offered
- Ability to provide care for infants and toddlers, including those with disabilities
- Excellent communication and teaching skills to engage with children and families
- Pre-service training and annual training to be maintained as required by state licensing regulations
- Positive attitude and team spirit
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
