Job Summary:
Iowa's only brain injury Clubhouse is offering an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, unique setting. We are seeking an organized and personable go-getter to be our Clubhouse Unit Coordinator, who will work side-by-side with Clubhouse members (brain injury survivors) during the work-ordered day to assist in completion of all Clubhouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring member engagement and maintaining a positive atmosphere.
Duties:
- Assist members in completion of all work-ordered day tasks (clerical, office-based tasks)
- Adjust tasks based on member ability levels
- Develop and implement strategies to increase member participation
- Handle member inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner
- Ensure smooth, engaging operations during program day
- Collaborate with staff, students, members, and volunteers as needed
- Ensure compliance with Clubhouse policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the human service industry
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate others and work with a team effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
-Strong technological skills, with familiarity with Microsoft, Google, and Canva
- Preferred minimum of bachelor's degree
- Ability to work with people with a variety of physical and cognitive abilities
