Job Overview:
The Operations Manager is a key position responsible for daily coordination and administration of all operations of assigned programs. The Operations Manager is a team leader who assists the Program Director in the implementation of a highly effective Substance Use Order (SUD) detoxification, residential treatment, and PHP/IOP programs. The Operations Manager is responsible for the adherence of all documented organizational rules, policies, and procedures within the assigned facilities. Core duties include management and leadership of the Behavioral Health Technicians (“BHT”) and ensuring all operational benchmarks are being achieved or even exceeded, including one-on-ones, trainings, performance evaluations, coordination and management of communications, updates, adherence to performance metrics and all other enterprise goals.
Duties:
- Consult with leadership to collaborate on continued process improvement and opportunities in delivering the highest level of client care
- Facilitate and collaborate with program leadership as well as all other support departments in achieving census goals and maximizing capacity utilization
- Oversee and contribute to day-to-day operations of assigned EHG programs
- Directly supervise operations staff members
- Provide performance management for all BHTs including collaborating with Lead BHTs, creating and implementing BHT schedules, and facilitating operations staff training
- Identify and address operational needs, such as but not limited to equipment, supplies, space utilization and all other expense activity
- Participate in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes
- Ensures that programs are in full operational compliance with governmental and industry regulations and standards and company expectations
- Participate in the compliance audits processes and analyzing company risk and vulnerabilities
- Provide operational and logistical support for EHG events
- Maintain positive relationships with community resources and referrals
- Participates in crisis intervention and conflict resolution actions, including suicide assessments, partner abuse, child and elder abuse screening; responds appropriately to resolve crisis situations; implements mandatory reporting procedures in accordance with regulations (including HIPAA) and policies
- Immediately report any crisis or serious concerns to appropriate staff
- Support client treatment goals as identified by the treatment team
- Convey clients’ needs to medical, clinical, and other operational staff
- Attend and participate in staff meetings
- Maintain proper chain of command
- Works directly with Human Resources on all employee relations matters
- Develop a positive and supportive work environment and operational team. Maintain professional boundaries with staff and clients. Ensures staff is upholding appropriate boundaries with clients, refining sponsorship with clients, and from giving out any personal information such as cell phone number, address, etc. Always direct these scenarios to our alumni program.
- Maintain facility compliance standards based on state and Joint Commission regulations.
- Time Management: Reviews and approves BHT timecards while providing guidance to staff on compliant record keeping with minimal missed punches. Note: a missed meal period should be previously approved by leadership.
- Creates, edits, and ongoing monitoring of BHT schedules for the facility ensuring appropriate coverage daily. Communicate any coverage gaps to leadership immediately. Serves as a point of contact for scheduling questions.
- Upload all expense receipts to the accounting system for review.
- Demonstrate high level maturity and sound judgment which all operations staff may emulate and follow not only leading this standard, but holding others accountable to such standards
- Maintain a good driving record
- Maintain a high level of flexibility with the daily flow of work tasks
- Complete any and all other duties as directed by the EHG Leadership
Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years’ addiction treatment center experience preferred
- 2 years’ IOP/PHP experience preferred
- First Aid/CPR/AED certified on first day of placement in role
- Effective September 1, 2023, a valid Motor Vehicle License

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
