Job Title: Event Support Staff & DJ Assistant

Job Description:
A support staff member is responsible for setting up and breaking down audio-visual equipment, Trussing, staging, draping and other equipment. Operating and troubleshooting photobooth problems. They must be physically capable of lifting heavy gear and possess strong communication skills to interact with clients and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Load, transport, set up, and tear down DJ/Production equipment, including speakers, mixers, microphones, and lighting.
- Assist with sound checks, monitor audio levels during the event, and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
- Help DJ and Lead Technicians during events as needed
- Pack and organize equipment after events
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance at events
- Attend Photobooths and the smooth operation of prints
- Operate and Troubleshoot Photobooth problems
- Operate audio or visual equipment
- Greet attendees, encourage participation, and guide them through using the booth for a fun experience.
- Keep the photo booth area clean and organized, monitor equipment to ensure smooth operation, and manage the distribution of physical prints.
- Act as a representative of the company, maintain a professional demeanor, and liaise with venue staff and event planners.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work with clients, vendors, and guests.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Availability on Weekends and Evenings
- Ability to work in a team
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Prior event or production experience is a plus, but not required
