About the Role

Empower Behavioral Health is seeking a full‑time Bilingual Resource Special Education Teacher to support Boulder‑area elementary schools for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an in‑person role providing IEP‑driven resource services, academic intervention, and bilingual support for multilingual learners receiving special education services.

The district is interviewing over the next week, and we are gathering candidates now.

Responsibilities

• Provide resource‑level special education services in reading, writing, and math
• Deliver small‑group, pull‑out, and push‑in instruction aligned to IEP goals
• Support multilingual learners through bilingual intervention (English/Spanish preferred)
• Implement accommodations, modifications, and intervention plans
• Maintain accurate IEP documentation, service logs, and progress monitoring
• Collaborate with general education teachers, CLDE teams, and related service providers
• Communicate effectively with families, including bilingual communication when appropriate
• Support a structured, positive, student‑centered learning environment

Requirements

• Active or eligible Colorado teaching license with one of the following:
• Special Education Generalist (K–12)
• Special Education Specialist (legacy credential)
• Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish preferred)
• Experience providing resource‑level SPED services preferred
• Ability to work full‑time, onsite for the 2026–2027 school year
