Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform the day-to-day processing of high-volume accounts payable transactions to ensure that finances are maintained in an effective, up to date, and accurate manner
- Review invoices and statements to ensure that all the information appearing on them is correct and complete and process payments to vendors accurately and timely
- Administer company credit card program: issue and terminate cards, maintain user access and permissions in system
- Review invoices and credit card activity to ensure that information is properly coded, recorded and authorized for payment.
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable & credit card activity
- Handle and research vendor inquiries or issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain vendor files and ensure proper documents (contracts, W-9 forms, etc.) are maintained.
- Prepare annual 1099 forms and assist with gathering information for financial audits
- Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
- Work closely with the Accounting/Finance Team and Purchasing/Facilities Team to assist as needed

Education and Experience:
Required:
- At least 3 years of experience working in an accounting related position
- Strong understanding of basic accounting concepts, i.e. debits and credits, balance sheet vs. profit and loss accounts, capitalization principles
- Minimum high school diploma (or equivalent)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience working in a growing organization, particularly with a high volume of capital expenditures
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- Experience with bill.com, Ramp and Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
