Role Summary
Seeking an experienced Data Product Management professional to lead data products, platforms, and strategic initiatives within the financial services domain. This role involves driving product vision and roadmaps, aligning cross-functional business and technology teams, and mentoring or managing a team of Data Product Managers.
Key Responsibilities & Expertise
Data Product Leadership
- Own the lifecycle of data products and platforms, from strategy to delivery.
- Develop and prioritize product roadmaps aligned with business outcomes.
- Guide and coach junior Data Product Managers.
Financial Services Domain
- Experience in banking, wealth/investment management, payments, or capital markets.
- Understanding of financial data structures, reporting processes, and regulatory expectations.
Technical Proficiency
- Working knowledge of AWS and Azure, with hands-on experience in querying and ETL workflows.
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Python or similar tools for analytics/ETL.
- Proficiency with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data lineage practices.
Analytics & Data Solutions
- Expertise in building reports, dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Ability to translate business requirements into robust, scalable data solutions.
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Experience managing Agile and Waterfall projects.
- Strong communication skills for engaging executives, clients, and cross-functional partners.
- Ability to oversee workstreams, resources, budgets, and delivery timelines.
