The IT Specialist is responsible for maintaining and supporting all technology systems within the juice manufacturing plant, including hardware, software, network infrastructure, production systems, and user support. This role ensures smooth day-to-day plant operations by troubleshooting issues, implementing technology solutions, and maintaining compliance with company IT policies and cybersecurity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Provide on-site and remote IT support for all plant employees and departments.
  
• 
  Install, configure, and maintain plant computers, printers, scanners, network devices, and related peripherals.
  
• 
  Maintain and troubleshoot production-related IT systems such as PLCs, HMI interfaces, labeling systems, and manufacturing software.
  
• 
  Manage and support ERP, inventory, and production tracking systems.
  
• 
  Coordinate with corporate IT or external vendors for system upgrades, backups, and security updates.
  
• 
  Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity or performance issues.
  
• 
  Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with company policies.
  
• 
  Ensure data security and backup procedures are properly followed and documented.
  
• 
  Support implementation of new technology, including hardware, software, and automated systems.
  
• 
  Provide employee training on system use and IT best practices.
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations, and support tickets.
  
• 
  Participate in audits, safety programs, and continuous improvement initiatives related to IT systems.
  

QualificationsQualifications:
Education & Experience:

• 
  Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  
• 
  2–4 years of IT support experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  

Technical Skills:

• 
  Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  
• 
  Experience with ERP, MES, or inventory management systems.
  
• 
  Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA, or other production automation systems (a plus).
  
• 
  Understanding of data backup, cybersecurity, and user support processes.
  
• 
  Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.
