What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronic Systems Installer position at Employnet Inc?
Lyft Media is looking for a skilled 12v electronics installer 2 days per week to report to select Flexdrive locations and repair pre-installed android tablets that are installed on the backside of the passenger headrest. Repair's will include basic wiring repair and parts replacement. These tablets turn on when the vehicles turn on and turn off when the vehicles turn off and offer an enhanced experience for both rider and driver.
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Responsibilities:
Primary duty will be to service pre-installed headrest mounted tablets. This will include performing basic troubleshooting methods to diagnose and repair non-operational tablets.
Collaborate and work closely with the Lyft Media team to understand project goals and timelines.
Coordinate with local ground teams to confirm vehicle availability and return tablets to a fully operational state in a timely manner to ensure SLA's are able to be met.
Ensure all repairs are of high quality to meet or exceed workmanship standards.
Manage inventory of all spare parts, tablets, materials and tools.
Perform inventory counts and update the internal inventory management system weekly ensuring inventory levels are accurate at all times.
Log all maintenance events and detailed service actions using the internal work order form.
Good communication skills to interact with team members and report on progress and issues.
Prepares Flexdrive rental vehicles for Lyft Drivers, which includes fueling and cleaning, installing telematics, license plates, conducting fleet vehicle inspections, and managing vehicle compliance documents
Manages vehicle lot organization, vehicle transportation, and other daily rental operations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Valid driver's license
2-3 years of prior experience in telematics installation or similar roles involving 12V electronic systems.
Proficiency in installing telematics devices, audio systems, and other relevant 12V electronic systems.
Ability to listen and follow directions precisely, with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational skills to manage tasks and inventory effectively.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and perform physical tasks related to installations.
Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues during installations.
Good communication skills to interact with team members and report on installation progress and issues.
Familiarity with various vehicle models and their electronic systems.
Flexibility and willingness to work outdoors and indoors based on vehicle availability and location.
