Trim Associate

We are looking for motivated Full Time Trimmers to join our Cultivation Department to support our daily grow operations and want to get to know You!

Pay: $18.00 to $21/hour, Depending on Experience

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work individually to meet the daily quota.
• Handle and craft our product delicately on the stem.
• Burp cannabis bins during the dry/cure process.
• Sift and quality control product at the end of the trimming to the set standards of no shake, stems, water leaves, burnt tops, or moldy product in the bag.
• Maintain quality product while reaching daily quotas.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the space.
• Assist in weekly harvest takedowns.
• Assure accuracy and consistency while trimming and weighing product.
• Share responsibility of clean-up of all processing areas and equipment at the end of every day.

Essential Job Functions:

• Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to sit, squat, stand, kneel, bend or walk through the workday for long periods.

  • Ability to lift items, which are generally under 30 pounds.

  • Manual dexterity and use of hand tools as required.

  • Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures/humidity levels.

  • Must be able to exert well-paced mobility and perform repetitive tasks for up to 8 hours in length.

  • Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.

• Work Environment:

  • Cannabis post harvest rooms, trimming rooms, and cultivation spaces.

  • Exposure to plant materials, smells, and high contact surfaces.

  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required (gloves, hairnets, masks, ect.)

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred

• Experience in cannabis preferred, but not necessary

Competencies:

• A solution-oriented “can-do” attitude with the desire to solve problems.

• Personal accountability.

• Ability to focus on work and be mentally present while on the clock.

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with all staff members. 

• Adaptability and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Other Misc. Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age.

• Selected candidate will be required to complete a post offer, pre-employment background check.

• Professional, tidy appearance and good personal hygiene.

• Must have open availability to work Monday through Sunday, including weekends, evening, and holiday shifts.

• Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States.
