Distribution Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Distribution Coordinator, employed by HR MGMT 10 LLC as the Employer of Record, will be responsible for coordinating the daily movement of cannabis products at a partnered production facility. This role ensures accurate and timely product transfers, full compliance with Metrc, and adherence to all state and internal regulations. The Distribution Coordinator will work closely with production, compliance, and transportation teams to maintain accurate records, manage schedules, and respond to the evolving needs of a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

The ideal candidate has prior experience with Metrc, thrives in a dynamic setting, and possesses strong organizational and communication skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

Metrc Compliance and Inventory Tracking:

• Create, manage, and reconcile Metrc transfer manifests in accordance with cannabis regulations.

• Track and document all incoming and outgoing product movements with accuracy and timeliness.

• Ensure compliance with state regulations and company SOPs related to product handling and distribution.

Product Movement and Coordination:

• Schedule and coordinate product deliveries and pickups with internal and third-party transportation providers.

• Ensure all shipments are correctly labeled, documented, and ready for transit.

• Communicate effectively with departments to ensure inventory readiness and resolve logistical challenges.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate logs of product transfers, inventory movement, and Metrc transactions.

• Prepare and submit reports to management regarding distribution activity, delays, or discrepancies.

• Support audits and state inspections by maintaining clean, complete records.

Cross-Functional Communication:

• Collaborate with compliance, production, packaging, and sales teams to ensure accurate fulfillment and distribution processes.

• Provide real-time updates on transfer status, manifest changes, or scheduling adjustments.

• Respond quickly to changing priorities, delivery issues, and urgent needs in a fast-moving work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree a plus.

• 1–2 years of experience working with Metrc in a cannabis distribution, compliance, or logistics role.

• Experience in regulated industries (cannabis, pharma, food) preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and inventory systems.

• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.

• Able to manage shifting priorities and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 21 years old.

• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

• Ability to obtain and maintain any required state-specific certifications for cannabis industry roles.

• Physical ability to perform duties including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
