The Position

We're looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our retail team as Luminaries (Budtenders).

As a Luminary, you'll be the face of Lume, helping customers explore our wide selection of premium cannabis products while delivering an exceptional shopping experience. You'll use your product knowledge, sales skills, and passion for customer service to make personalized recommendations, build customer relationships, and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Our ideal candidate is outgoing, dependable, team-oriented, and motivated to achieve results. While previous cannabis industry experience is preferred, we value strong retail experience, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming, informative, and engaging shopping experience.

• Assist customers in selecting cannabis products based on their preferences, interests, and individual needs.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Lume's products, including flower, concentrates, edibles, and other cannabis offerings.

• Drive sales by making thoughtful product recommendations, educating customers on promotions, and contributing to individual and team sales goals.

• Accurately process transactions, handle cash, apply discounts, and maintain balanced cash drawers.

• Operate point-of-sale (POS) and inventory systems while ensuring accurate transaction records and regulatory compliance.

• Verify customer identification and ensure all purchases comply with applicable laws and company policies.

• Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked, and visually appealing retail environment.

• Assist with inventory management, product stocking, merchandising, and packaging as needed.

• Stay informed about new products, industry developments, and applicable cannabis regulations.

• Collaborate with team members and store leadership to support daily operations and achieve store performance goals.

• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and state and local cannabis regulations.
