Job Title: Assembler/Solderer
Location: Wallingford, CT
Employment Type: Temp to Hire
Starting Pay: $18 (DOE)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, full time 1st shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed assembly tasks, including soldering components under a microscope
- Wire and assemble small parts and assemblies according to blueprints or specifications
- Ensure quality control standards are met in all stages of the assembly process
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet production deadlines
Requirements:
- Prior experience in soldering, preferably under a microscope is required
- Proficiency in wiring and small assembly work
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
