Warehouse Picker/Packer

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker/Packer to support daily warehouse operations for a Marine Distribution warehouse in the St. Paul area. This role primarily focuses on accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment while maintaining inventory accuracy and a clean, safe work environment.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• Start time: 9:30 AM
• $19 an hour with potential for overtime
• End time varies based on workload (work until completion)
• Overtime possible, especially during peak season

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick products from inventory based on order tickets or RF scanners
• Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality
• Verify items picked match order details and quantities
• Label, stage, and organize outgoing shipments for timely delivery
• Receive and inspect incoming inventory and stock items in designated locations
• Perform inventory checks and assist with cycle counts
• Maintain organized and accessible inventory within the warehouse
• Inspect products for damage or defects prior to shipment
• Keep work areas clean and follow all safety protocols
• Assist team members and support overall warehouse operations as needed

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience with picking, packing, and order fulfillment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, productivity-driven environment
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Basic computer skills or experience using warehouse systems/RF scanners is a plus

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2–4 years of warehouse or order fulfillment experience preferred
• Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or Material Handler is a plus

Work Environment

• Warehouse setting with frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• May be required to lift up to 50 lbs
• Use of warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or scanners may be required
