We're partnering with a client company to hire a Plumbing Engineer. This is a full-time position based in Alpine, NY 14805, with a remote work option available.
We're seeking a plumbing professional who can work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary design teams to deliver high-quality plumbing system designs for commercial and industrial building projects.
Requirements
- PE (Professional Engineer) license preferred, EI (Engineer Intern) certification, or 5 years of plumbing engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline preferred.
- Experience designing plumbing systems for commercial and/or industrial buildings.
- Experience with domestic water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, natural gas, and plumbing systems for building design.
- Strong understanding of plumbing engineering principles and applicable design standards.
- Proficiency with BIM software, preferably Revit.
- Experience using AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of Building, Plumbing, and Energy Codes.
- Experience preparing construction documents and coordinating with architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
- Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality, cost-effectiveness, and client satisfaction.
Salary : $60,000 - $100,000
