About the Company
We're hiring an Electrical Engineer to join our client’s growing team. This is a full-time position based in Alpine, NY 14805, with a remote work option available. We're seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional who can work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary design teams to deliver high-quality electrical engineering solutions. The company’s projects range in size from 1,500 to over 500,000 square feet. They engineer, design, and provide consulting services for government buildings, hotels, prisons, psychiatric centers, higher education buildings, K-12 schools, health care facilities, museums, county buildings, DOT facilities, and commercial facilities.
About the Role
Electrical Engineer $75,000 – $120,000 Location: Alpine, NY 14805 (Remote Option Available)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred.
- PE (Professional Engineer) license preferred, EI (Engineer Intern) certification, or
- 5 years of electrical engineering experience
Required Skills
- Experience designing electrical systems for commercial and/or industrial projects.
- Knowledge of lighting design, lighting control systems, and applicable lighting software.
- Proficiency with BIM software, preferably Revit.
- Experience using AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience preparing and editing project specifications.
- Strong knowledge of Building, Electrical, Energy, and Fire Alarm Codes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality, cost-effectiveness, and client satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with engineers, architects, and project teams.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality, well-coordinated projects.
Salary : $75,000 - $120,000
