Now Hiring: Forklift Shipper / Crater
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $18.00/hour
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Shipper / Crater to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in accuracy, and can operate in a fast-paced shipping environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently
- Prepare, package, and crate products for domestic and international shipment
- Build custom crates using wood and packaging materials
- Read and interpret work orders, packing lists, and shipping instructions
- Load and unload trucks while ensuring product integrity
- Use hand and power tools (nail guns, saws, drills, etc.)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
Qualifications:
- Prior forklift experience required
- Experience in shipping, crating, or packaging preferred
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license required
- Willingness to travel locally as needed
