Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Developer to join our team. As a Developer, you will be responsible for interviewing, and working with individuals with barriers. Your role will involve mentoring, providing workforce development opportunities, and ensuring compliance with employment labor laws. We work from home and in the community so having ability to manage your time and have a space to work from home is a must. We will supply the computer and printer but you must have internet. Duties:
- Provide mentorship and guidance to individuals in the workforce
- Develop and implement workforce development programs
- Ensure compliance with employment labor laws and regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to create inclusive work environments
- Educate employers on the benefits of hiring individuals with disabilities
- Conduct training sessions for employers and employees on disability awareness and inclusion
-Working along side individuals at their place of employment
-Create relationships with businesses
Qualifications:
-Be 18 years or older
- At least 1 year of experience working with individuals that experience a disability or 1 year working in a human services field
- Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to mentor and support individuals in the workforce
- Experience in training development is preferred
