Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up forklifts loading and unloading materials.
- Perform order picking using RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Handle heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely processing of goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and efficiency.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and perform basic mechanical maintenance as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving and order picking.
- Familiarity with various equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Ability to lift heavy loads consistently throughout the shift.
- Previous experience in warehouse management systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards is essential.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 50 per week
