Full Time Non-Exempt: $65,000.00/Yr

Position Summary

The Survey Research & Insights Specialist is responsible for the set-up, administration, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of a wide variety of surveys initiatives.

This position leverages survey platforms such as Qualtrics and other research tools to collect meaningful data, transform findings into actionable insights, and support strategic decision-making for internal stakeholders and Employers Council members.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling confidential information. The ideal candidate must also have a basic knowledge of human resources practices in order to discuss the purpose and value of survey data and how it is used to inform and support HR compensation and benefits decisions.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manage survey distribution, response tracking, reminders, and participant communications.
  • Collect, organize, validate, and analyze survey data from multiple sources
  • Maintain compensation files, survey records, job descriptions, and related documentation using PayScale Peer, ERI, Qualtrics, and other data bases.
  • Create and administer custom compensation and benefits surveys.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality throughout the research process.
  • Interpret complex findings and translate them into practical business recommendations to support our member organizations.
  • Enter and update compensation and job data in PayScale Peer system.
  • Prepare and publish survey reports related to compensation data, HR Metrics, and benefit information based on annual published schedule.
  • Work with marketing team to communicate published survey data throughout appropriate Employers Council channels
  • Discuss survey data with members, articulating key findings, context, and the importance of the data in supporting informed HR and compensation decisions.
  • Assist members with navigation and training in PayScale Peer system
  • Conduct annual survey briefings both in person and virtually.
  • Schedule meetings and respond to routine survey inquiries.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years of administrative, HR support, compensation support, or data coordination experience.
  • Experience maintaining records, preparing reports, and working with spreadsheets or HR systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
  • Working knowledge of human resources practices and processes to support survey administration, member inquiries, and accurate interpretation of HR-related data.

Must be authorized to work in the United States. This role does not offer visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting compensation, HR, payroll, or survey-related processes.
  • Familiarity with HRIS or compensation databases.
  • Knowledge of basic compensation terminology and job documentation practices.
