You would enhance the continuity of quality patient care; amplify communication between the physician, family members, and the health care team; and extend the capabilities of the medical care team. Since this is a Nurse Practitioner role, you would be required to perform clinical procedures outlined by the individual department requirements. Overall, this position is critical in leading quality and evidence-based care initiatives that will result in achieving optimal patient outcomes and improved patient satisfaction.

Position: Per Diem, Nurse Practitioner
Shift: Per Diem
Experience:
1. Two years Nurse Practitioner experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Department settings preferred.
2. A minimum of two years nursing experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Department settings preferred.
Education:
1. Completion of an Nurse Practitioner program required.
2. MSN required.
Licensures/Certifications:
1. Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP).
2. BLS certification required.
3. ACLS certification required.
5. Additional certifications specific to specialty may be required or preferred. Refer to the specialty addendum.
6. Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved.
7. Completion of and Certification as a RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assistant) to be able to gain credentials for C-Sections. Certification must be within 1 year of employment.
This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.
