Plant Controller – Manufacturing | Full-Time | Bolivar, OH
Cablecraft Motion Controls is seeking a hands-on, strategic Plant Controller to lead all financial operations for our Bolivar manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment and wants to partner closely with operations, supply chain, and leadership to drive plant performance.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage all plant accounting functions, including cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Develop, oversee, and monitor operational budgets, costing rates, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end close processes.
- Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Document, implement, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
- Prepare periodic financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Provide reporting, analysis, and recommendations to support decision-making, capital investment, pricing, and contract negotiations.
- Partner with external auditors to support annual audits.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Lead and develop accounting team members, ensuring alignment with company goals and strategic plans.
- Oversee cash management, payroll, accounts payable, credit, collections, cost accounting, and job cost estimating.
