Schedule: Monday-Friday 6AM-2:30PM
Pay: $17-$20 Depending on Experience
Key Role and Expectations:
This position supports the fabrication and manufacturing of custom sports facility products, including netting, padding, and windscreens. The Production Worker plays a key role in ensuring products are accurately measured, assembled, and prepared for shipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble custom sports facility products.
- Stretch and cut material to precise measurements.
- Safely operate equipment such as grommet machines, sewing machines (powering on/off, pedals, threading), hot knives, scissors, tape measures, and chalk lines.
- Identify and retrieve required materials; return unused rolls and supplies to storage.
- Fold, tie, and prepare finished products for transfer to the shipping department.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area by using PPE, following machine safety procedures, and reporting equipment failures or defects.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, depending on task assignments.
Required:
- Ability to read and understand basic work orders and instructions.
- Physically capable of performing fabrication tasks (lifting and pulling up to 45 lbs., standing, bending, stretching, etc.).
- Comfortable working in warehouse conditions affected by outdoor weather and climate.
- Basic knowledge of measurements and math for accuracy in cutting and assembly.
- Strong attention to detail, including verifying measurements, color matches, and straight cuts.
- Reliability in following directions and collaborating with team members.
Preferred:
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Knowledge of basic hand tools
