Press Brake Operator Day Shift
We are currently seeking candidates with experience operating press brake equipment for a manufacturing customer in Streetsboro.

In this position, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, or straighten sheet metal and metal plates according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality parts safely and efficiently.

Shift:

• Day Shift 5:30pm-3:30am, Monday – Friday

Pay:

• $17.00 – $22.00/hr (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate press brake machines (manual and/or CNC) to fabricate parts to specifications
• Interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine job requirements
• Select proper tooling and materials based on each job
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure conformance to specifications
• Make machine adjustments to control speed, material feed, and path of the cut as needed
• Maintain equipment and tools by performing regular maintenance and reporting issues
• Keep accurate production and quality records
• Follow all company safety procedures and actively participate in safety programs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1–3 years of experience operating press brake equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Proficiency with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CNC press brake programming
• Forklift certification or willingness to be trained
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices
