Job Description:
Works with Manager of Revenue Integrity or designee to coordinate all maintenance and revenue enhancement aspects of the hospital and clinic charge masters. Serves as project manager or project lead. Provides application support to assigned systems. This individual will research all aspects of services provided, reimbursement regulations affecting these services, assist in creating charge mechanisms in either the hospital or clinic masters, assist in implementation, and educate end users.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience and education.
Work Experience: 5-7 years experience with clinic/hospital billing systems required.
License and Certifications: Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) required.
