Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Tampa Palms, FL for a Registered Behavioral Health Technician. The Behavioral Health Technician will assist in providing direct care and support to individuals with behavioral and mental health challenges. Responsibilities include implementing behavioral intervention plans, monitoring individuals' progress, documenting behavior data, and supporting day-to-day activities. The role requires collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the well-being and development of the individuals under care.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis
- Proficiency in Behavioral Intervention techniques and strategies
- Educational background in Psychology or a related field
- Excellent Communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, families, and team members
- Ability to maintain accurate records and detailed documentation about behavioral progress
- Empathy, patience, and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with behavioral challenges
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a plus
- Previous experience working in a similar setting is highly desirable
